| Font2Bmp will create Windows .BMP files from installed fonts. In character mode, Font2Bmp will create individual bitmap (.bmp) files for each character of a given font. Each characters bitmap file is saved with a filename of its ascii value (046.bmp for example).PLEASE NOTE: This version does not support unicode characters. A new 'text string' mode has been added which will generate a bitmap file from the text you type. This allows for quick generation of text graphics which can be converted from BMP to GIF format and published on the web.
This program was inspired by a COLD FUSION custom tag called CFX_FONT made by Albedo Systems. Font2BMP has since found its customers using it for many purposes to get the job done. THE TRIAL VERSION WILL ONLY GENERATE DIGITS 0 THROUGH 9. This will be useful for web page counters and the like. FULL VERSION - The full version allows all characters of any font installed into windows. Cost is $35 and will be sent via E-MAIL ONLY. Here's what one happy user stated: "I installed Font2BMP on my system, and ran it on the Adobe Type 1 font in question. Everything converted beautifully. This was a custom-generated Adobe Type 1 font, which was extremely difficult to create, because the "size" of the fonts were quite unusual, non-standard, and lots of out-of-bounds parameters. We created this font set out of various Arabic glyphs, hand-drawn calligraphies which are used in English text to denote respect when mentioning the names of prophets and saintly people in the Arabic language. Believe me, if Font2BMP can handle this, it can handle anything! We are web designers, and have quite a few sites that will definitely be able to use Font2BMP in making a special look and feel to their sites. Now that I see what the program can do, I have lots of other exciting ideas for using font elements in web design. I give this nifty little tool my highest recommendation. Font2BMP belongs in every top webmaster's box of tricks." Ibrahim Adham
